This 2006 Donzi Shelby GT Classic is a 22-foot speedboat that is powered by a high-output 496ci MerCruiser V8 paired with a forward-reverse transmission and a MerCruiser outdrive. The fiberglass hull is finished in silver with black racing stripes, and features include adjustable trim tabs, a cockpit cover, a dual thru-hull exhaust system, Livorsi controls and instrumentation, PRP bucket seats, and a Bluetooth stereo. The boat was purchased by its current owner in 2024, and work in 2025 and 2026 included overhauling the steering system, servicing the outdrive, and replacing the trim tab rams. This Donzi is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a cockpit cover, a tandem-axle trailer, New York registration in the owner’s name for the trailer, and a clean New York watercraft title in the owner’s name for the boat. The 22′ fiberglass hull is finished in silver with black racing stripes. Features include a Shelby-style vented rear hatch, stainless-steel hardware, dual stainless-steel exhaust outlets, and dual trim tabs that were fitted with replacement IMCO rams in 2025. The steering system was also overhauled at that time with a replacement pump and lines. Photos showing paint imperfections are presented in the gallery. The cockpit houses replacement PRP bucket seats upholstered in gray and black vinyl as well as a white rear bench. Appointments include black carpeting, a Sony Bluetooth stereo, and passenger grab handles. The seller notes flaws in the bench seat’s upholstery, photos of which can be viewed in the gallery below. The starboard helm fronts Livorsi instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for trim angle, fuel level, oil pressure, voltage, and coolant temperature. A depth finder and a Garmin chartplotter are also present along with switchgear and Livorsi controls for the throttle and forward-reverse transmission to starboard. The hour meter shows 663 hours of run time, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership. The 496ci Mercury MerCruiser MAG HO V8 was factory rated at 425 horsepower when new. Forward and reverse propulsion is provided by a MerCruiser outdrive with a four-blade propeller. Work in 2026 included replacing the yoke seal, resetting the rolling torque on the input shaft, changing the gear oil, and replacing anodes, seals, and o-rings. The tandem-axle Loadmaster trailer is equipped with a rolling tongue jack, a hand winch, diamond-plate fenders, carpeted bunks, and 14″ alloy wheels.
