This 2000 International 4900 was outfitted as an air and light truck by SVI Trucks in Loveland, Colorado, and it remained with the city of Eugene, Oregon, until the selling dealer’s purchase in 2025. Power comes from an 8.7-liter diesel inline-six linked to an Allison six-speed automatic transmission, and the vehicle is equipped with a light tower, a MAKO air-tank fill station, power-operated hose reels, and a Lima Mac PTO generator. Other highlights include a retractable awning, a portable toilet, grey vinyl upholstery, and storage racks that can be accessed from inside and out. This International fire truck now has 7,500 and is offered at no reserve with manuals and a clean Oregon title. The vehicle left the factory in chassis-cab configuration and was outfitted with a utility body at SVI Trucks in Loveland, Colorado. Red paint is accented by a white stripe, and a Command Light folding light tower is mounted to the roof along with an air conditioning unit. Other details include a retractable right-side awning, a rear step bumper, folding entrance steps, flood lights, LED headlights, and emergency vehicle lights. A MAKO fill station and power-operated hose reels can be accessed from the exterior behind tambour-style doors. The vehicle is further equipped with a Lima Mac PTO generator and a Bendix Tru-Flo 550 air compressor. A portable toilet is housed in the rear compartment. Painted 22.5” wheels are wrapped in Ironman tires up front and Goodyear tires out back. The vehicle rides on a dually rear axle, and stopping power is handled by air brakes. Storage racks can be loaded from inside the utility body, and the interior is outfitted with stainless-steel work surfaces and diamond-plate wall panels. The forward cabin features a driver’s seat and a two-passenger bench trimmed in grey vinyl. An aftermarket head unit has been installed, and a radio microphone is tethered to the overhead console. The two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 7,500 miles, and an hour meter shows 1,900 hours. The 8.7-liter diesel inline-six sends power to the rear wheels through an Allison MD 3000-series six-speed automatic transmission. The batteries were replaced in preparation for the sale.
