A long-wheelbase, medium-roof Transit 250 cargo van — the workhorse configuration, with a passenger-side manual sliding door, barn-style rear doors, and a rubber/vinyl floor throughout. The naturally aspirated 3.5L V6 runs on flex fuel and sends power through a 10-speed automatic to the rear wheels, with a 3.73 axle ratio, independent front suspension, and a solid rear axle on multi-leaf springs. The cabin is straightforward work-truck spec: single-zone front air conditioning, cruise control, keyless entry with panic alarm, a tilt-and-telescoping wheel with audio, phone, and cruise controls, dual front armrests, door pockets, a front console with storage, and front and rear assist handles. Infotainment is a basic 4-inch display with AM/FM, four speakers, Bluetooth with hands-free calling, a USB input, and a Wi-Fi hotspot, plus FordPass Connect for remote lock, vehicle location, maintenance status, and remote start. Power outlets are 12V up front and in the cargo area. Safety and driver aids include a rearview camera with in-dash monitor, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, pre-collision audible and visual warnings, lane deviation sensors, driver attention alert, roll and trailer stability control, crosswind stabilization, and hill holder. Halogen headlights with auto on/off, delay-off, and automatic high-beam dimming; rain-sensing variable intermittent wipers; solar-tinted glass; rear defogger; power-adjustable manual-folding mirrors. It rolls on painted steel wheels with partial covers and all-season tires, with a full-size steel spare mounted underbody. Hardware includes a 250-amp alternator, maintenance-free AGM battery, and an auxiliary transmission fluid cooler.
